Hello! And a very warm welcome to our new website – again written in-house by the multi-talented Charles! So we now have the capacity to take orders online - making it easier for people to order whenever and however. Though - truth be known we prefer to talk to you! We do hope you find it easy to navigate and that all the things you need to know are still very easily found. We’ve added some extra bits like the spares page for customers in case anything has got misplaced over winter.
To celebrate Wilverley's 10th birthday and echoing the 1920s/30s era these lovely swingseats first came into their own, we have created The Wooster swingseat (no prizes for guessing where the name came from..!). It is only available with fringing at the moment, however, we may do a version without fringing next year as we are very likely to repeat this as it this design is proving so popular.
And finally we have solved the utter bore of having to lean forward to take sustenance when you are idling away – no more kicked over G&Ts – hurrah! The table is stainless steel with a teak tray, which removes from the stand if you want to use it as such. The table can easily be tucked into the Idler under the overall cover or left out, whatever is easiest for you.
Chelsea itself was exceptionally busy this year - we rolled up again in our Kombi and popped the stand up in record time this year as we do it all ourselves and managed to get a tradestand award. Very nice but as usual (and I say this every year!) not as lovely as seeing our old customers come and visit - thank you to Benita Kassass, Andrew Needen, and Presley Fitzgerald to name for coming by and helping on the stand with expert modelling and brilliant sales technique!! And look at this - these two had never met before!! The Idler doing it's thing.
