The Chelsea Flower Show - 2013

Another busy year at the Chelsea Flower Show. There was a relative calm setting up at the show which has been unlike other years. We were opposite the Seeability Garden and it was certainly interesting to see the ultra organised team build the garden, no shouting just men working solidly all day! We’ve just had a patio laid and I wish I had employed the Seeability garden team!

We had a great time and came away with more than we took being unable to resist buying the poshest spade and fork from Sneebor tools for my brother who has recently begun to be a full time gardener. We also found some lovely plant supports from McKellers Iron Work. We work with metal and I appreciated that all their products were galvanised. They add a lovely patina and their products stood out from the crowd – worth paying some extra pennies.

It was great to see many of our old customers who made our Idlers very easy to sell by waxing lyrical to new customers. At times we could have left the stand unmanned!
